Recreational Hockey
Hyland Hills Recreational Hockey offers a fun, inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels to enjoy hockey without the pressure of high-level competition. We promote physical activity, camaraderie, and a love for the game in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
This program is designed to provide a recreational level of play for ages 10U (Squirt) through 18U (Midget). Teams in this program will play in the Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL) which offers an alternative to the intense environment of competitive (RMHF) hockey. Families participating in the Recreational (CRHL) program can expect to travel within the state of Colorado but not out of state like the Competitive (RMHF) teams.
The CRHL program is less of a commitment in terms of time and cost than RMHF. CRHL teams are selected to try and balance the strength of the teams within an age division.
Season Length
The recreational program begins in September with team evaluations and placement. The season ends the last weekend in February with CRHL Playoffs.
