Hyland Hills Girls Hockey: What’s Next? Find Out Now!
We want to take a moment to recognize and thank Jillian Rhodes, who has officially stepped down from her role as Girls Director at Hyland Hills. While the past season presented some challenges, Jillian remained a passionate and dedicated leader, pouring her heart into the growth and success of our girls' program.
Her commitment to creating opportunities for female athletes has helped build a foundation that will benefit players for years to come. Under her leadership, the program expanded in both reach and spirit, and countless young girls found not just a team, but a place to belong.
We are excited about the future of girls' hockey at Hyland Hills and want you to be a part of it! As we continue to grow and strengthen our program, we are committed to providing a competitive, supportive, and fun environment where female athletes can develop their skills, build lifelong friendships, and reach their full potential on and off the ice.
With top-tier coaching, player development opportunities, and a strong team culture, Hyland Hills is the perfect place to continue your hockey journey. We truly believe you're an important part of something special in the making and we'd be honored to have you continue this journey with us. If you are not currently a Jaguar, we would love to have you consider joining our prowl. In addition to the positive changes we are making for the coming season, we have recently formed a parent committee to help advise the girls director and hockey office on what our members want.
This letter is our commitment to:
- Reassure parents that their children are in a supportive, well-structured environment focused on personal growth, skill development, and sportsmanship.
- Demonstrate transparency by outlining what families can expect from the program in terms of coaching, communication, and opportunities.
- Highlight the organization's dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive hockey culture that emphasizes both competitive development and having fun.
- Build trust and alignment between the organization and families by setting shared expectations and reinforcing that the club is invested in the success and well-being of every player
