2024 Spring Programs

AGE DIVISION TRAINING - GIRLS DEVELOPMENT CAMP - 7U/8U ACADEMY - STICK HANDLING AND SHOOTING CAMP - SPRING LEAGUE - DEFENSE AND CHECKING CAMP - JAGS ADVANCE GOALIE SYSTEMS TRAINING

Please Note:

Consistent schedules are interrupted April 15 - May 3 due to Blue Rink and Red Rink maintenance and repairs.

Squirt/Peewee/Bantam/Midget Age Division Development Programs:

• Open to all players born 2015-2008+ (Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, Midget)
• 2 practices per week from 4/1-5/19 (12 Sessions)
• Each division is coordinated and led by HHHA age level directors and 2024-2025 head/assistant coaches.
• Each on-ice practice will consist of 30-40 minutes of advanced power skating, stick handling, shooting, passing, angling/body contact and vision/hockey IQ training plus 20-30 minutes of competitive small games and full-ice scrimmage.
• Jerseys included
• Cost will be $450 non-Jags Club Members; $410 for Jags Club Members
• $100 for Goalies (limited)
• Limited Drop-In spots are available for all age-division training camp sessions - Drop-in registration will pop up as an option when you enroll and each session will cost $40.

7U and 8U Development Programs:

Hyland’s 7 & 8U development programs will provide all of the training your advancing players need this spring. On ice sessions will be led by our fantastic coaches and the Hyland professional staff.  Details below:

• Program runs 4/1-5/19
• Players will skate 2 times per week (total 13 sessions).
• The practices will focus on skating skills, stickhandling and shooting and FUN!
• 8-Under division will consist of players born in 2016
• 7-Under division will consist of players born in 2017 and later
• Cost will be $410 non-Jags Club Members; $375 for Jags Club Members

Hyland is home to the largest girls program in the state of Colorado. We are very proud of our girls and will enter the spring looking to continue the development of our female players of all ages and abilities.

• Our Girls Development Camps will be led by HHHA girls directors, Hyland staff, volunteers and guest coaches
• The program will consist of 2 ice times per week starting 4/1 and running through 5/19 (13 sessions)
• Players will be assigned to Group A or Group B to keep ideal player count on the ice.
• Each practice will consist of 30-40 minutes of skating, stickhandling, scoring, body contact and hockey IQ training, followed by 20-30 minutes of scrimmage/small games
• Cost will be $485 non-Jags Club Members; $445 for Jags Club Members

We are pleased to announce that we will be running a Spring League in our building again this year. Details are below:

• The spring league is open to competitive and recreational players born from 2015-2010
• Kids who sign up will be assigned to age-appropriate teams and will participate in 1 practice and 1 game each week from April 1-May 19 (7 weeks - 7 practices, 7 games)
• Practice Ice will be on Saturday mornings (typically around 10am or 11am)
• Games will be on Sunday mid-mornings to early afternoons.
• Practices will be led by Hyland directors and volunteer staff with a focus on skating, stickhandling, shooting and hockey IQ development
• Jerseys included
• Cost will be $320 for non-Jags Club Members and $280 for Jags Club Members

We’re bringing back one of our most popular camps from last year. See details below on the 2024 Spring Stickhandling and Scoring Camp:

• Our Skating, Stickhandling & Scoring Camp will be led by HHHA directors, Hyland staff, volunteers and KIRILL PROSKURIN!
• The program will consist of 2 ice times per week starting 4/1 and running through 5/19 (13 sessions)
• Kids will spend time working on the skating, dekes and dangles as well as proper passing and receiving and…of course….shooting, shooting and more shooting!
• This camp is open to players with 2006 - 2015 birth years.
• Cost will be $485 non-Jags Club Members; $445 for Jags Club Members - Free for Goalies!

GROUP 1 IS FULL*

STARTING 3/25/2024 ALL NEW REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PLACED IN GROUP 2*

*Goalie spots are still available for both groups

This camp is a must for defensemen! Always one of our most popular, our Defensive & Checking camp will focus on the fundamentals of playing the position as well as safely delivering and receiving body contact. Details below:

• Our Defense & Checking camp will be led by KYLE BRODIE, HHHA directors, Hyland staff, volunteers and guest coaches
• The program will consist of 2 ice times per week starting 4/1 and running through 5/19 (13 sessions)
• We will partner like age/size/skill level players together for all body contact.
• Practices will focus on defensive skating and skills as well as body contact and safety. This is a must have camp for kids entering the older age levels, but open to all players with director approval.
• Cost will be $485 non-Jags Club Members; $445 for Jags Club Members - Free for Goalies!
